Over the years, Make Africa Bloom has grown from a purpose into a movement — creating opportunities for women to learn, grow, express themselves and take the next step towards their dreams.
Planting the Seeds
Our journey began by investing in female entrepreneurs.
Through the Glade Launchpad Programme, women were given access to training, tools and skills to help strengthen their businesses and turn ambition into opportunity.
Our partnership with Concord for Young Women in Business extended this support to female entrepreneurs in rural communities.
We had planted the seed.
In My Blooming Era
In 2024, we celebrated a simple truth: there is no single way to bloom.
In My Blooming Era celebrated women in every chapter of their journey — whether building, discovering, achieving or simply becoming.
Through the Glade Entrepreneur Spotlight, female entrepreneurs were given a platform to showcase their businesses and share their stories.
Together with Hulisani Ravele and Random Acts of Kindness, and through our Limited Edition packs, we continued turning celebration into tangible opportunities for women.
Because blooming isn’t only about celebrating how far you’ve come. It’s about creating opportunities for where you can go next.

Through the Young Designers Programme, emerging female designers were challenged to bring Glade fragrances to life through fashion — supported by mentorship, nationwide exposure and opportunities to grow their careers.
The Make Africa Bloom Mentorship Series created another kind of space, bringing ambitious young women together with influential women to share wisdom, experiences and inspiration.
Because sometimes the most powerful spaces aren’t physical.
They’re where confidence grows, perspectives change and possibility begins.

And sometimes, it’s a space you can’t see — created through sacrifice, discipline, courage and the decision to keep moving forward.
